🌱 From Soybeans to Tofu
Tofu is a healthy, plant-based food made from soybeans through a traditional process.
First, dried soybeans are soaked in water until soft. Then they are ground with water
to create a slurry, which is cooked to improve taste and digestibility.
After cooking, the mixture is filtered to separate soy milk from the pulp (okara).
A coagulant like calcium sulfate is added to form soft curds, which are pressed
into solid blocks. The result is tofu — a nutritious, protein-rich food enjoyed worldwide.
